TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment – COMING SOON

You can complete the Cert IV Training and Assessment in an online Live Virtual, or Face to Face class. Both the Live Virtual and Face to Face training methods are provided as a blended delivery course with a mixture of self-paced study activities and workshops (Live Virtual via Zoom, or Face to Face on the Gold Coast, in Brisbane, Cairns or Perth).

This 5-day Face to Face, or online Live Virtual (conducted via Zoom, on QLD time) course requires participants to complete self-paced pre and post-course work. Some of the pre-course work to be completed before the 5-day workshop includes, self-paced reading, watching recorded tutorials, preparation of your presentations. The post-course work is made up of a variety of tasks and activities, these include, short answer questions, case scenarios, research activities, validation and assessment activities, and presentations.
During the Cert IV Training and Assessment classroom (Face to Face or Live Virtual) days, you will complete a range of assessment tasks, group activities, and presentations. This method of delivery gives you the skills and knowledge required to complete the remainder of the TAE assessment tasks from home, using the knowledge learned during the week, as well as access to all additional support options listed below. RAM Training provides all the support you need to finish your Certificate IV in Training and assessment.

NO work placement required – while other providers may require you to source an RTO for work placement to finalise your assessments, our courses have been specifically designed to eliminate the need for this.

All of our Cert IV Training and Assessment participants have the option to book into additional free Presentation Workshops, to complete their remaining presentations. For those who do not wish to attend any extra workshop days, you can present your final presentations in your own time or in the workplace, however these must be filmed and cover the correct requirements – some presentations require 4 or more participants, others are 1 on 1 training sessions, recordings of your presentations must be submitted for assessment.

The Cert IV Training and Assessment Distance Learning course gives participants the flexibility to complete the course at their own pace as self-paced study. All Distance Learning Certificate IV TAE40122 participants are supported by our recorded tutorials and instructional webinars. Participants have up to 12 months to successfully complete all Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment assessment tasks, in order to be awarded with their qualification.

As part of the Trainer and Assessor course requirements, participants must complete presentations, in front of a group of 4 or more adult learners and 1 on 1 training sessions, witnessed by a qualified trainer and assessor. In order to complete these, RAM Training Services allows all of our TAE participants the option to book into free Presentation Workshops, to complete their presentation requirements.

For those who do not wish to attend any workshop days, you can deliver your presentations in your own time and/or in the workplace, however these must be filmed and cover the task requirements. Some require a minimum of 4 participants and others are required to be conducted 1 on 1.  Recordings of your presentations must be submitted for assessing (please talk to our team for more information on this option).

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Deposits are non-refundable. Once the course is paid in full, no refund will be given for cancellations unless 5 business days’ notice, prior to the Workshop start date, is given (minus a 20% administration fee). Should we need to postpone a course for any reason, every effort will be made to reschedule the course within the following two months. If however, this is not possible, or the rescheduled dates do not suit, participants will be entitled to a full refund.

Included in the TAE40122 cost, is, additional Presentation Workshops (on top of your 5-day course), free of charge. However, should you wish to reschedule your Presentation Workshop/s, we do require a minimum of 3 business days’ notice (prior to the Workshop date/s), in order to reschedule your booking without charge. Should you cancel within 3 business days of your Workshop, you will be required to pay a re-booking fee of $195 per Workshop being rescheduled. Option 1: Distance Learning Plus

The AQF advises what they believe is a good indication of how long different courses should take. These are called the Volume of Learning Indicators, and they suggest that a (full) Certificate 4 level qualification should take between 600 and 1200 hours.

In our experience, every person is different, and so the time it takes one person to complete is different to the next person. This largely depends on each person’s experience, dedication to their studies, and their other personal commitments.

Students will have up to 12 months to complete the TAE40122 course with RAM, however students may be able to complete within 6 – 8 months, dependent on their individual schedules and commitment to completing assessment tasks.

Our suggested Volume of Learning for this qualification is 6 months – 18 months (600 – 1800 hours).

You’ll need access to the internet, a computer/laptop with Microsoft Office, a printer, and a video recording device as simple as an iPhone.

While we are confident that our students will be able to submit within the 12 month timeframe, and we provide extensive support to assist with this, there are occasions where our student’s personal circumstances may unavoidably cause delays for them. Due to regular updates to our assessment materials, as well as to training packages in general, if we are able to offer an extension, we are only able to extend due dates by 1 month at a time, should you need it. Please note, there is no guarantee that we will be able to offer an extension, but we are more than happy to do so where possible.

There is no fee charged for the first extension given. Any further extensions requested, will incur a re-enrolment fee of between $395 and $595, dependent on whether a complete new set of course materials is required. In some cases, this may mean you will need to re-do parts, or all, of your assessment tasks using the new materials.

We will check in with you regularly, once you have commenced, to make sure you’re progressing. And don’t forget to join (free) as many of our Live Q&A Webinars as you like – these are a great help to many of our students!

While we don’t believe it will be necessary to do so (the 2 qualifications are equivalent, and as long as the Standards don’t change, there is no requirement to do so), it will be possible to upgrade.  Dependent on what units you have completed previously, this would require gap training on 7-8 units, credit transfer for 1-4 units, and completion of 1-3 new units.
