Provide First Aid (incl CPR)
The Nationally Accredited Provide 1st Aid course (HLTAID011 – the most current First Aid course) teaches participants the necessary skills to administer first aid care that may be required in emergency situations, as well as the tools needed to help treat serious injuries and other ailments.
Upon successfully completing the nationally recognised training course, your certification remains valid for 3 years, at which time you may choose to have it renewed if necessary. The CPR module (HLTAID009) incorporated within the Provide First Aid course is valid for 12 months and must be renewed annually.
The First Aid course runs for 1 day (the first 4 hours will cover the CPR component) with pre-course reading and a theory assessment required to be completed, prior to attending the face to face component, as well. This course is delivered on various days at several locations on the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Far North Queensland, and Northern NSW. The pre-course reading and assessment ensures you have the underpinning knowledge required to commence the face to face component of the course.
Do you only require your CPR certification? Refresher courses are also available at RAM Training. The CPR qualification is covered in the first 4 hours of the normal First Aid course – please see our CPR course page for more information.
For corporate bookings, please note – group bookings are available at your work premises in any location Australia-wide. Course delivery can also be tailored to your industry, for example – childcare, aged care, nursing etc.
Note, for international students – we are not CRICOS registered, please check your visa requirements for enrolment. We cannot accept international students who are on a student visa.

Pre-Requisites
While there are no pre-requisites to attend this course, we do recommend a Grade 10 level of English reading and writing, and a minimum age of 12. Participants will also be required to carry out practical training and assessment at floor level, including performing CPR on a manakin for a period of 2 minutes.

Refund Policy
Please note that deposits are non-refundable, and once the course is paid in full, no refund will be given for cancellations unless 5 business days’ notice is given (less a 20% administration fee). Should we need to postpone a course for any reason, every effort will be made to reschedule the course within the following two months. If however, this is not possible, or the rescheduled dates do not suit, participants will be entitled to a full refund.
Once payment has been made on a distance learning course, and study materials have been issued, no refund are available.

This course teaches the vital skills and knowledge required to administer First Aid response, life support, management of casualties or injuries and other basic medical assistance. It can be completed by anyone, however we suggest a minimum age of 12.
